Why should creationism get any support in public school classrooms?

when it is nothing but a hypothesis based upon religious pretexts? i mean how can you have evidence for "god did it"... evolution has almost a century of evidence behind it i mean how do creationist explain nylon dissolving bacteria, lactose intolerance in humans, flu strains that mutate almost every year?
